As of August the 1st, Leopard TOGT’s Tim Torn Teutenberg will join the ranks of Lidl-Trek. The German will be a stagiaire at the UCI WorldTeam.
Teutenberg is now riding his third season at Leopard TOGT Pro Cycling. The German joined the team back in 2021 as a 18-year-old with very promising results in the junior ranks in races such as the Tour de Gironde, the Keizer der Juniores and the Grand Prix Rüebliland.
After already showing signs of great potential, thing started clicking for Teutenberg during the 2022 season, where he rode to many top results. Most notable are his 6th position in Gent-Wevelgem U23, and his multiple top 10’s in amongst others Olympia’s Tour, Le Triptyque des Monts & Château, Flèche du Sud and the Deutschland Tour. Not to forget his very strong performance in the Lotto Zesdaagse Vlaanderen-Gent to finish the season off just outside the podium spots.
2023 has been a confirmation of his talent, with top five results at the Giro Next Gen, a second place at the Ronde van Overijssel, finishing runner-up at the U23 German Time Trial Championships and above all his European track title at the Elimination Race.
Needless to say, that Leopard TOGT Pro Cycling wishes Tim Torn all the best during his time at Lidl-Trek.
Tim Torn Teutenberg: “I am super happy that I able to join Lidl-Trek as a stagiaire. It’s a good step in the right direction and I’m very excited for the upcoming months, in which I hope to learn a lot. Also, I hope to make an impact for the team, the same way I have tried to do this for Leopard TOGT this season.”
Sebastian Andersen, Sportive Manager Leopard TOGT Pro Cycling: “We are very happy to see Tim getting the chance to unfold his talent on a bigger stage with one of the best teams in the world.
